Do Not Sleep Facing The Door

The death position is when one has one's feet directly facing the door. It is a fact that the corpses of dead people are placed this way - with the feet directly pointed towards the door - prior to the funeral. This arrangement is deemed to be very excellent yin position for the dead. But it is very deadly for the living!

Actually Feng Shui advises that neither the head nor the feet should be pointed directly at the door of the room. Thus when positioning the bed, it is always advisable to have it placed either to the left or right of the door. If there is an attached or ensuite bathroom/toilet, it is important to make certain that the two doors i.e the entrance doors,

and the toilet door, are not aligned in a straight line. Worse, if the bed itself is sandwiched in between. If yours is such a situation it calls for severe measures to be taken. Place a screen or cabinet to block off one of the doors.

And move the bed but in so doing, do not end up having the bed pointed to either the toilet door or the entrance door. If your bedroom is very small and you have no choice then I advise you to place your bed with the headboard at one of the corners. This sort of irregular arrangement is acceptable.

If you are sleeping on a bed without a headboard, it is also very bad feng shui for yourself. A headboard is like a support which secure your head properly while sleeping on the bed. There must always be a form of support behind your head while sleeping. If your bed does not have a headboard, then I would advise you to place your bed with the head portion against a wall in your bedroom. While arranging, you still have to take note that your feet do not face the door of your bedroom.
